Cancellation and refunds
How to stop paying, how to get money back, and the statutory form — all on one page, because that is the point.
Last updated 10 September 2026

Cancelling takes one click
Go to your billing page, press the cancel button, confirm. That is the whole thing. There is no call to make, no form to complete first, no queue, no retention offer and nobody trying to change your mind.
Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing is taken after that. You keep everything you paid for until it ends.
You can also cancel by writing to support@amalte.shop, by telephone on +44 7486106187, or by using the form at the bottom of this page. Any clear statement that you want to cancel is enough — the form is offered, never required.
Your 14-day right to cancel
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day the contract is made to cancel a new subscription and get your money back, without giving a reason.
When that right ends early
This is digital content and a digital service supplied immediately, so under regulation 37 the right to cancel is lost once supply has begun — but only if you have expressly asked for it to begin inside the 14 days and acknowledged that asking for that loses the right.
Those are two separate things, and Wrongstep asks for them as two separate boxes, neither of them ticked for you, on the checkout screen. Both are checked again on the server before anything starts, and both are repeated back word for word in your order confirmation email. If you leave either of them unticked, nothing starts inside the 14 days and your right to cancel is untouched.
The two sentences are, exactly: “I ask Wrongstep to begin supplying the service immediately, within the 14-day cancellation period.” and “I acknowledge that once supply has begun I will lose my right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.”
A second cooling-off period after a long renewal
Where a subscription renews after a period of twelve months or longer, you get the same 14 days again from the renewal date. This is one of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 protections, implemented ahead of the date it comes into force.
How refunds work
- Cancelled in the 14 days, supply not yet begun: a full refund of everything paid.
- Cancelled in the 14 days, supply begun at your request: the statutory right has ended, but a fair proportion is refunded for the part of the period you have not used. That is a policy, offered on top of the law, not a restatement of it.
- The service has not worked as described: a full refund, whenever you tell us. Nothing on this site attempts to sign away your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Charged after cancelling, or charged twice: refunded in full as soon as it is pointed out, with no argument.
- Simply changed your mind after the 14 days: cancel any time and the plan runs out its paid period. A refund for the unused part is at our discretion, and it is usually given.
Refunds go back to the method you paid with, within 14 days of the decision, and usually much sooner. Nothing is deducted as a fee.
If you disagree with a charge
Write to support@amalte.shop with the date and the amount. Disputes are acknowledged within two working days and resolved within ten. Where a charge cannot be explained, it is refunded.
You can also raise a dispute with your bank or card issuer. Doing that does not affect your rights here, and no account is ever closed for it.
This company is not required to take part in an alternative dispute resolution scheme and has not joined one. That takes nothing away from your right to bring a claim in court.
Model cancellation form
This is the statutory form set out in Schedule 3, Part B of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You do not have to use it — any clear statement that you are cancelling will do — but it is here so that you can.
